Josué Alvarez

Josué Alvarez is the current Operations Manager at Eddy. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Technical Team Lead / PO at Walmart from September 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team, delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals, liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects were completed to standard, identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible, and analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.

Prior to their time at Walmart, Josué worked as a Master Data Management Lead at UST Global from July 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for defining data migration, collection and enrichment strategy for SAP / GLS (Global Logistics System) Implementation, coordinating the building, managing and maintaining a repeatable data load and migration process for SAP, defining and supporting data rules, regional standardization process and data Governance, creating and managing the communication and education plan for master data management and governance, developing and monitoring the data collection program and metrics, creating and defining educational material about data management and data process, leading efforts gathering and analyzing data, impacts and issues or risk into business activities or process, working with the client data in managing the Data Migration team responsible for identifying, extracting, cleaning, mapping, loading both the master data sets & transactional data sets from multiple sources into SAP system, identifying and building a plan on master data opportunities, generating solutions and proposals in operations processes that affect master data, creating and maintaining tools to improve the SMEs experience over collection, enrichment and migration process, and designing and improving analytical cost process and tools in order to help the data conceptual, structure and simulation.
