Athena Johnson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology public relations sector. Currently serving as Executive Vice President for US Tech at Edelman since April 2006, Athena previously held the position of Senior Vice President at the same company. Prior to Edelman, experience includes working as an Account Director at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide from February 1998 to April 2006 and as PR Manager for the Seattle International Film Festival between 1995 and 1998. Athena began a career in the entertainment industry at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Publicity & Advertising Coordinator from 1993 to 1994. Athena holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, obtained between 1987 and 1991, and graduated from Immaculata College High School in 1987.
