Dan Baker

Dan Baker serves as the Senior Vice President of Earned Media at Edelman since June 2025. Previously, Dan held the position of Senior Vice President of Media Strategy at We Communications from October 2021 to June 2025, where responsibilities included providing senior counsel across technology and consumer portfolios and shaping earned-first strategies. Dan's career also includes roles at Finn Partners, where Dan was a Partner and Senior Media Relations Strategist and held several vice president positions from June 2017 to October 2021. Earlier experience includes being a Public Relations Manager at Infor, developing marketing programs to enhance corporate reputation, and working at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as a Senior Account Executive. Dan's foundational career began at various public relations firms, including as a Junior Account Executive at Alpaytac Marketing Communications and a Media Relations contact for Bellator MMA. Dan holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado.
