Helga Ying is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in strategic consulting focused on corporate citizenship, social impact, and sustainability. Currently, they serve as the Global and U.S. Chair of Purpose at Edelman, overseeing the development and execution of social initiatives for various organizations worldwide. Previously, Helga held significant roles, including Head of Local Office for AIDS 2020, where they managed the largest international conference on HIV and AIDS, and Vice President of External Engagement and Social Responsibility at American Eagle Outfitters. Helga's career also includes advising U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy and directing government affairs at Levi Strauss & Co. They hold degrees from Macalester College, The Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Mannheim.
