Jake McLeod

Jake McLeod is an experienced professional in crisis management and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of UK Digital Crisis and Associate Director for Issues & Crisis at Edelman since September 2021. Previously, Jake held the position of Senior Consultant and Account Director at Portland from February 2019 to September 2021. Prior roles include Government Relations Manager and Senior Government Relations Adviser at Unicef UK, as well as Public Affairs Officer at The Children's Society. Jake’s early career featured positions such as Policy and Parliamentary Assistant at the Standing Committee for Youth Justice and Campaigns and Media Assistant at the Equality Network. Educational qualifications include a degree in Politics and Sociology from The University of Edinburgh, completed between 2011 and 2012.
