Jess Xu

Jess Xu is a Senior Strategist at Edelman, part of the New York Corporate team since May 2022. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Account Executive at Ogilvy, where Jess developed integrated campaigns for global consumer packaged goods brands. Early career roles include a Worldwide Corporate Advertising Intern at IBM and a MADE Intern at the ANA Educational Foundation, selected from over 840 applicants for a highly competitive program. Jess also held positions as a Creative Intern at the University of Chicago's Communications Office, Research Coordinator at Chicago Innovation, and Digital Art and Design Summer Intern at FriendTimes Inc. Jess holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Comparative Human Development with a minor in Visual Arts from the University of Chicago and is currently enrolled in an Intensive Summer Program in Digital Branding at Pratt Institute.
