Maame B.

Maame B. is a seasoned professional in sustainability, social impact, and government affairs, currently serving as Associate Director at Edelman since January 2024. Previously, Maame held the position of Manager for Partnerships and Government Affairs at the Africa-Europe Foundation between July 2022 and December 2023. Maame's experience includes working as an Associate in the Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All from June 2020 to July 2022 and serving in various roles at the United Nations Global Compact from February 2017 to March 2020. Maame began the career at the University of the Witwatersrand, holding positions as Senior Tutor and Student Legal Counsel, and also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright. Maame holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and additional education from the University of Cape Town.
