Firi

Firi is currently a food producer at Eden Life, and was previously the VP of Programs at SheLeadsAfrica.Org. During their time at SLA, Firi was responsible for leading and executing the organization's programs strategy for impact. This entailed working closely with the co-founders, product, sales & partnerships, growth, and financial teams to accomplish all goals.

Firi and their team relied on data gathering and analysis to understand critical problems affecting African women across their business, career, and/or lifestyle. This data determined how they developed the processes, systems, and experience design delivered to the SLA community as events and learning programs.

During their time at SLA, some of Firi's notable achievements include leading the #InthistogetherAfrica initiative - a group finance coaching session delivered to 2000+ women across Africa in response to the impact of Covid-19 on personal and business finance - in partnership with Women Will and Google. Firi also delivered the Firi Means Business digital marketing training to 3000+ early stage entrepreneurs and creatives in Africa, in partnership with Facebook. Lastly, Firi closed the SLA High Growth coaching program - a program for 16 early stage, female led businesses connected with learning & investment opportunities to accelerate business growth - in partnership with Oxfam.

Firi's educational career would include obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations & Sociology from the University of Toronto Mississauga.

They are on a team with Fu'ad - Growth Lead, Diseye - Firi Lead, and Prosper - CTO. Firi reports to Nadayar, CEO.
