At Eden Studio, we believe that rugs and carpets should be beautiful, considered and meaningful, not just functional floor coverings. Every piece we create is custom‑designed and meticulously crafted in Christchurch, where tradition meets innovation to reimagine what floor textiles can be.

Our approach is rooted in thoughtful design, expert craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to quality. We work with the finest natural fibres, including premium New Zealand wool renowned for its exceptional performance, rich texture and remarkable dye affinity, as well as silk, mohair and nylon to achieve finishes that are both tactile and enduring.

Each Eden Studio rug and carpet is made to order, tailored to your space, palette and vision. From initial consultation to final finishing, we collaborate with you at every step, designing colour, texture and form with precision and care so the result feels entirely unique to you.

Our bespoke process harnesses custom‑built tufting technology developed in‑house, allowing us to craft textures and patterns that go beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s nuanced tonal shifts or sculptural dimensionality, our techniques deliver complexity with clarity and a refined sense of place.

Beyond design and craft, we are deeply connected to the land from which our materials come. New Zealand wool is renewable, biodegradable and naturally resilient; its ability to absorb and lock dye at a molecular level creates colours of lasting depth and clarity.

We believe every rug and carpet is more than a surface, it’s a tactile experience, a thoughtful expression of your environment, and a piece designed to elevate the spaces you live in.
