Michael B.

Michael B. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michael started their career at the University of Toronto as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Molecular Genetics and Medical Biophysics from January 2009 to October 2009. Michael then joined Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. in May 2010 as a Market Analyst in Portfolio Development, later moved to the role of Manager in Business Development from January 2013 to December 2013. Michael then served as the Associate Director of Business Development from January 2014 to December 2014, and subsequently became the Director of Business Development from January 2015 to September 2015.

Michael transitioned to Edesa Biotech in September 2015, serving as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy until December 2018. Michael was then promoted to the position of President in January 2019, a role they currently hold.

Michael B. completed their education history with a Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College in 2001. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2009. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management to obtain their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
