Jack Pratt

Associate Vice President, Political Engagement at EDF Action

Jack Pratt has extensive experience in the political and environmental sectors. Jack currently holds the position of Associate Vice President, Political Engagement at EDF Action since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Snr. Political Director at EDF Action from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining EDF Action, Jack worked at the Environmental Defense Fund as the Chemicals Campaign Director from 2013 to 2018. Jack also has a strong background in government, having served as the Chief of Staff for US Congressman Steve Israel (D-NY) from 2004 to 2013. Prior to that, they held the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff/Communications Director and Press Secretary for the same congressman from 2001 to 2004.

Jack's experience also includes working as a Staff Assistant for US Congressman Ken Lucas (D-KY) from 2000 to 2001 and as an intern for Rt. Hon. Paul Boateng, MP from 1999 to 2000.

Jack Pratt completed their undergraduate degree in Political Science at Kenyon College from 1994 to 1998. Jack then pursued a master's degree in Political Theory at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1998 to 1999.
