Mark Howard

Mark Howard is an experienced engineer with a strong background in risk and asset management across various sectors, including energy and gas. Currently serving as a Risk & Investment Engineer at EDF (UK) since February 2023, Mark is a member of the Engineering Risk and Investment Team at Sizewell B Power Station. Previous roles include Network Asset Engineer at Cadent Gas Limited, where responsibilities encompassed asset investment for the East of England Network, and a Network Engineer focused on operations and maintenance in the East Anglia region. Mark's extensive experience also includes positions at GLNG at Santos Ltd as an LNG Production Planner, Gas Supply Coordinator at Santos Ltd, and a series of engineering roles at Shell and Petrochem Carless, where both refinery scheduling and engineering tasks were executed. Mark started a career at British Energy, initially as a Nuclear Engineer before advancing to Systems Engineer. Mark holds an M Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
