Philippa Burt

Philippa Burt is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the Hinkley Point C project and Nuclear Development at EDF (UK) since June 2020, Philippa previously held the position of Chef de Projet Formation at EDF, focusing on leadership and talent development. With a comprehensive background at EDF Energy from 2010 to 2018, Philippa contributed to various roles, including Head of People Development and Head of HR - Business Partnering & Organisational Capability, where responsibilities included fostering leadership capabilities and workforce planning. Earlier in career, Philippa gained experience as HR Manager & Continuous Improvement Manager at British Energy and as a Management Trainer at Canon UK. Philippa holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from The Open University and a CIPD diploma in Human Resources from North Hertfordshire College.
