Simon Kettle

Simon Kettle is an experienced professional in the field of education and STEM advocacy. Currently serving as Executive Director at STEMworks since January 2011, Simon collaborates with schools and businesses to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths among young people. In parallel, Simon works on STEM program delivery at EDF Energy, focusing on the EDF Inspire Education projects across 30 secondary schools in Somerset. Previous roles include Chief Examiner for GCSE Engineering and Principal Moderator for GCSE Electronic Products at AQA, as well as Setpoint Manager for Gloucestershire County Council, where Simon oversaw initiatives to promote STEM education in local schools. Simon also held a position as Assistant Headteacher at Gordano School, leading the Design & Technology department. Simon's educational background includes a PGCE in Design and Technology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA Hons in Design and Technology from Loughborough University.
