Simon Naylor is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in the nuclear energy sector and regulatory law. Currently serving as Managing Legal Counsel for the Nuclear EPR Programme at EDF (UK) since November 2023, Simon previously held the position of Legal Counsel for Nuclear New Build at EDF from July 2022 to November 2023. Simon's experience also includes various roles at DWF, where responsibilities ranged from Trainee Solicitor to Regulatory Senior Associate, encompassing diverse areas of law such as real estate, construction, and regulatory matters. Earlier in the career journey, Simon worked as a Researcher/Resourcer at RP International. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the College of Law and a BA (Hons) in International History and Politics from the University of Leeds.
