Stuart Murray

Stuart Murray is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear power sector, currently serving as Issue Resolution Technical Manager and Electrical Group Lead at EDF (UK) since June 2019. Prior to this, Stuart held various key positions at Horizon Nuclear Power from December 2014 to March 2019, including Senior Project Engineer for the Turbine Island and Lead Electrical Systems Engineer, where responsibilities involved managing and verifying electrical design and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Earlier experience at Magnox Ltd from July 2008 to November 2014 included roles as Senior Electrical Project Engineer and Electrical Systems Engineer, focusing on high voltage distribution systems and essential electrical systems. Stuart holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, awarded in 2008.
