Darrell Swan is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Origination & Power Marketing at EDF Renewables North America since May 2023. Previously, Darrell held various leadership roles at Northland Power Inc., including Director of Origination - Development and Director of Origination Energy Marketing, where responsibilities encompassed developing competitive revenue strategies and establishing an Energy Marketing desk. Darrell's experience also includes roles at ATCO Power Canada Ltd, TransCanada Energy Ltd, and CrossAlta Gas Storage & Services Ltd, focusing on optimizing energy assets, contract negotiations, and marketing strategies. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Finance from the University of Calgary, complemented by earlier studies at Mount Royal University.
