David Narbaitz

David Narbaitz is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in solar technology and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Solar Technician and Site Safety Specialist at EDF Renewables North America since April 2019, David has contributed to the maintenance of nine utility-scale solar power plants totaling 91 MW. David's previous roles include Solar Energy Consultant at Solar Second Thought, where modeling software was utilized for solar system sizing, and various positions as a Solar Installer, supervising teams and ensuring quality control. Alongside a successful tenure as CEO and Founder of Monopolatte Inc., a board game-themed restaurant, and a background as a Patent Examiner at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
