Michael Leav

Michael Leav is an accomplished SCADA Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a SCADA Systems Engineer 3 at EDF Renewables North America since September 2016, Michael has progressed through various engineering roles, contributing significantly to the management of balance of plant and fleet SCADA systems. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Renewable Energy System Operator at Brookfield Renewable U.S., overseeing operations of numerous hydroelectric and wind power plants, and also served in the US Navy, where exceptional leadership in reactor controls earned recognition through a Navy Achievement Medal. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology and Business Management from Excelsior University and Northeastern University, respectively, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Technology and Data Analytics at Excelsior University.
