Sam Bascom

Sam Bascom is a Project Manager at EDF Renewables North America, leading project teams on Grid-Scale Power Renewable Energy projects since January 2022. Previous roles at EDF include Associate Project Manager and Project Management Fellow, where Bascom contributed to solar and battery storage projects during a corporate fellowship program associated with the Hiring Our Heroes initiative. Prior experience in the US Navy includes serving as Fire Control Officer and Combat Systems Officer on the USS Pinckney, managing divisions responsible for advanced weapon systems and operational effectiveness. Sam Bascom holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
