Wayne Dias

Wayne Dias has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. Wayne is currently working as the Director of Operational Technology at EDF Renewables North America. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Siemens, including US Head of Grid Simulation Software and US SW Product Line Manager. Wayne also worked at California ISO, where they served as a Generation Dispatcher and Real-Time Operations Engineer. Wayne started their career at Southern California Edison as a Power Systems Control Engineer and later took on roles as a Phasor Project System Architect and Phasor Project Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Power Systems Transmission Planning Engineer at ZGlobal Engineering Inc. and interned at the California Independent System Operator in Grid Operations Development.

Wayne Dias holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems Emphasis from California State University-Sacramento, completed between 2007 and 2009. Wayne also has an MBA in Executive MBA from California State University-Sacramento, earned between 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Wayne holds a certification in NERC Reliability Coordinator from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.
