Gui Wang is an experienced Nodal Power Trader at EDF Trading since November 2012, specializing in FTR, ARR, and UTC trading. Prior to this role, Gui Wang served as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2007 to December 2012, focusing on power system planning, operation and economics, optimization, electricity market design, strategic market behavior, smart grid and renewable energy, and electricity pricing. Additionally, Gui Wang interned at ISO New England in the summer of 2010, conducting research on electricity pricing. Gui Wang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an M.S. in Systems Engineering, and a B.S. in Information Engineering, both from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
