Peter Collins

Peter Collins currently serves as the Energy Trading Regional Commercial Head at EDF Trading, a position held since September 2023. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Collins previously held the role of Director of Trading at NRG Energy from December 2004 to September 2023. Earlier in his career, Collins was the Director of Gas Trading at Progress Energy, the Director of Asset Trading at InterGen, and a Senior Trader at PG&E Energy Trading. Collins began his professional journey as a Consultant at Pace Global, A Siemens Business, from 1995 to 2000. Peter Collins earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia between 1989 and 1993.
