Tom (Mutian) Xu is currently an MSc Financial Statistics student at the London School of Economics, where they are interested in the application of statistical methods within trading. Previously, Tom completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Cambridge. They interned at Equinor in 2023, focusing on commodity market analysis and trading. Tom's experience also includes a role at EDF Trading as a Gas & LNG Analyst, where they developed models and analytical tools to enhance trading strategies and supported risk management during their rotations in the Commercial Graduate scheme. Additionally, they gained consulting experience as a summer intern at EY in 2022.
