Will Thornton

Will Thornton has over 16 years of experience in the trading industry. Will is currently working as the Head of Oil Flow Trading & Cross Commodity Trading at EDF Trading since June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Oil Derivatives Trader at Petrochina International (London) ltd from August 2016 to June 2017. From July 2007 to August 2016, Will served as a Senior Oil Trader at EDF Trading. Before that, they worked as a Metals Trader at Stemcor from June 2005 to June 2007. Will started their career in the trading industry as a Commodity Derivatives Analyst at ABN AMRO in 2004.

Will Thornton attended Epsom College from 1994 to 1999 but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Will went on to study at The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Geography. From 2003 to 2004, Will attended Cass Business School and completed a Master of Science degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance.
