Xavier Jacques

Xavier Jacques has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gas and energy industry. Xavier currently serves as the Head of Gas and Liquid Fuels Operations at EDF Trading. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Gas Operations at both EDF Trading and Ørsted, where they were responsible for managing the gas portfolios and overseeing the Gas Operations Department. Xavier also worked at DONG Energy as a Senior Short Term Trader and later as a Short Term Gas Trader, handling optimization, balancing, and monitoring of the company's gas portfolio. Xavier gained further experience at RWE Supply & Trading Netherlands as a Gas and Power Operator, real-time shift trader, and Shift Trader/Gas Operator. Xavier started their career at Distrigas as a Senior Gas Controller and at Fluxys as a Nomination Agent.

Xavier Jacques attended Hogeschool PXL from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Transportation. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" from LinkedIn in October 2021.
