EDG Projects Australia is a full-service building design company with offices in Melbourne and Echuca founded by award-winning building designer Alastair McDonald.

We’re a premier boutique and commercial building design firm specialising in a wide range of industries and multiple projects—from multi-use commercial projects to boutique residential creations and thoughtful refurbishments.

We custom-tailor every project based on our client's goals—whether it’s a commercial, industrial, hospitality, or residential home build. Our goal is to create individual and unique spaces. Most importantly, it’s about understanding what our clients need and how we can create a unique design that best meets those needs.

We also understand the importance of strong relationships. For over 10 years, we’ve been building relationships with a wide range of partners, from builders and engineers to surveyors and town planners. These relationships and the collaboration with our clients lead to the best possible results and deliver a seamless experience.

Because every building design project is individual, our talented specialists are passionate about supporting our clients throughout the entire build. With a wide range of skills, we can help with all aspects, from concept design to planning approval, contractor selection, and contract administration. We’re here to help every step of the way to ensure all projects are on time and budget.

When you choose EDG, we’ll guide you through the entire build process, approaching each project by thoroughly exploring your brief, budget, and unique requirements.
