Tue To is a Manager at Edgar, Dunn & Company (EDC) based in the San Francisco office. She has over 10 years of economic and management consulting experience, working with international card networks, banks, acquirers, large merchants and startups on a wide variety of projects. She has helped financial institutions identify and assess potential opportunities to expand their international footprint in key markets, developed business cases to evaluate card issuers’ costs and benefits of EMV deployment in the U.S, as well as created payments roadmaps for merchants including recommendations on different strategic initiatives based on current market developments and trends. She also provided thought leadership on payments trends, conducted an interchange cost study for an international card network and managed several research projects on emerging payments such as the Internet of Things, blockchain technology, financial wellness tools and social commerce.

Previously, Tue spent five years as a Senior Analyst at NERA Economic Consulting, part of Oliver Wyman Group. She has extensive experience in strategy, benchmarking study, business case analysis, project management, financial modelling, performing due diligence, and evaluating the businesses of leading multinational enterprises in different industries.

Tue holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Grinnell College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
