Michael Andrews

Michael Andrews is a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Edge Focus, with a robust background in quantitative analysis and machine learning. Previously, at Theorem, Michael managed the auto loan portfolio, significantly expanding partnerships and enhancing the portfolio's impact. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, Michael developed an advanced AI/ML model that drastically improved anomaly detection in CMS detectors. Earlier experience includes a pivotal role at CERN, where Michael created an innovative AI/ML system that facilitated the detection of high-energy particle decays, contributing to groundbreaking research recognized in a published paper. Michael holds a PhD in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, alongside an MS in Physics and a BS in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University.
