Charith Jayasundera

Charith Jayasundera is a sustainability thought leader and ESG strategy expert with over 16 years of international experience in both the private and public sectors. Currently, they serve as an Associate Director for Climate Change and Sustainability at KPMG and are a Principal at Edge Impact, leading ESG initiatives. Charith co-founded InterBalance, a boutique advisory firm geared towards ESG and sustainability, and has contributed to various organizations as a member of the Global Reporting Initiative working group. Their past roles include managing corporate planning at Warringah Council and overseeing social sustainability at MAS Holdings, where they developed impactful policies and strategies. Charith’s educational background includes a BSc. (Hons) in Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University and executive education in Sustainability Leadership from Harvard University.
