Simon Green

Simon Green is a seasoned entrepreneur and innovator with extensive experience in founding and leading organizations focused on business growth and community development. As the Founder and CEO of Edge Innovation, Simon combines design expertise with innovation to enhance products and processes. Simon also established Northumberland Community Energy Ltd to promote renewable energy initiatives in rural communities and serves as Founder and CEO of Rural Design Centre, which benefits rural areas through new product and service development. Additionally, Simon founded and chaired Innovation SuperNetwork North East England, fostering collaboration across various sectors in the region, while also holding advisory roles in initiatives such as Creative Fuse North East. Previous roles include leading business support at Newcastle Science City and directing Grainger Management Ltd, alongside a foundation in scientific research at Procter & Gamble. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Durham University and a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield.
