Thomas Collier

Thomas Collier has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Thomas began their career in 1987 at Lucent as a Developer, Tester, and Systems Engineer/Business Analyst. In 2001, they moved to Sound Advantage as a Product/Program Manager. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Motorola as a Program Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Independent Consultant, managing the transition of QCUL School from wired classrooms to wireless, managing vendors, assessing bids for wireless network and equipment, developing project plans and schedules for deployment of local area network, and integrating grants and fund tracking software applications. In 2013, they joined LSC Communications as a Project Manager 3, leading the planning and rapid deployment of Logistics and mail CoServices software applications. Currently, they are working at Edge Solutions & Consulting Inc. as a Project Manager, leading project activities for Elevance Health Enterprise Encryption Services group, leading a team of 4 data analysts during the execution phase to rotate, revote, or issue new certificate authorization keys for 60 vendors.

Thomas Collier began their education in 1980 when they attended Tuskegee University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1985. Thomas then attended US Naval AOCS in 1985. Afterwards, they attended DePaul University from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science.
