Joao Perez

Joao Perez is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and digital transformation across various leadership roles. As the Co-founder and Executive Director of OpenPBL.AI, Joao aims to democratize problem-based professional education. In addition, Joao serves as the Executive Chairman of SEK Security Ecosystem Knowledge, leveraging over two decades of expertise in cybersecurity across multiple South American countries. Joao is also an advisor for PredictiveIQ and Edge Total Intelligence, focusing on innovative data-driven solutions. Previous leadership positions include CEO of BRQ Digital Solutions for North America, Senior Vice President at Oracle, and various senior roles at IBM, where Joao was pivotal in driving digital sales and cloud transformation initiatives. Joao holds a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and has studied at The Wharton School.
