Aron Smith

Aron Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Aron began their career at CenturyLink (formerly US West) as a QRE Design Engineer, where they designed communication networks and managed projects. Aron then joined Level 3 Communications, starting as a Network Engineer and progressing to roles such as Senior Network Planner, Solutions Architect, Segment Manager, and Sr Product Manager. At Level 3, Aron handled complex customer opportunities, developed network solutions, negotiated transaction terms, and managed budgets. Aron later joined CoreSite as the Director of Interconnection Product Management and eventually became the Vice President of Interconnection Product & Cloud Development. In these roles, they focused on interconnection product solutions and collaborated with cloud sales verticals. Most recently, Aron joined EdgeConneX as the Vice President of Global Product Management, where they are responsible for supporting existing core products and executing product solutions based on market intelligence and key stakeholder guidance.

Aron Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Colorado State University, attending from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, obtaining an MBA in Finance from 2002 to 2005.
