Daniel Li Mba, Cpp, Hisp

Daniel Li, MBA, CPP, HISP has a diverse work experience in the field of security and operations management. Daniel started their career in the Singapore Armed Forces, where they served in various roles, including Enforcement (Deserter) Specialist, Traffic Enforcement Specialist, and Intelligence Specialist. In these roles, they conducted patrols, investigations, and intelligence analysis.

After their military service, Daniel joined Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd as a Surveillance Operator, where they monitored and ensured the security of the premises. Daniel then worked at Reachfield Security as an Operations Executive, managing manpower, recruitment, and incident handling for multiple sites.

Daniel then joined SingTel as a Security Manager, responsible for formulating security policies, budgeting, procurement, and daily operations control. Daniel managed various security systems, including CCTV, card access, and visitor management.

Daniel later joined Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. as a Regional Security Manager for Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations. In this role, they led a team of security managers and oversaw physical security operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and audit readiness.

Afterwards, Daniel worked at Microsoft as a Regional Security Operations Manager, where they managed third-party vendors providing security services in the APAC region. Daniel conducted site assessments, managed projects, and contributed to audits and compliance monitoring.

Before their current role, Daniel worked at Facebook and Meta (formerly Facebook) as a Global Security Area Manager for APAC.

Currently, Daniel is working at EdgeConneX as the Director of Data Center Physical Security for the APAC region.

Daniel Li, MBA, CPP, HISP, obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Heriot-Watt University between 2007 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Singapore Polytechnic from 2000 to 2003, where they earned diplomas in Banking and Finance.

Aside from their academic qualifications, Daniel Li holds several additional certifications. These include CBCI from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), CCTP as a Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner, CPP from ASIS International, and HISP from the Holistic Information Security Practitioner Institute (HISPI).
