Matt Plato

Matt Plato is an experienced commissioning director currently serving at Edged since September 2023. Previously, Matt held the position of Regional QA/QC & Commissioning Director at Skanska from October 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included implementing the QA/QC program in the NY Metro area. Prior to that, Matt managed the commissioning program for the $8 billion Central Terminal Replacement Project at LaGuardia airport. Matt's career also includes roles at Integ Systems Corporation as a Sales Engineer, Aligned Energy as Director of Engineering, Quality and Commissioning, and a significant tenure at Skanska focusing on the delivery of commissioned data centers for high-profile clients. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Marist University and a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
