Matthew Winter

Matthew Winter is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the building services sector. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Edged since December 2023, Matthew previously held multiple senior positions at Global Switch from May 2014 to November 2023, including Chief Design Officer and Group Director of Projects. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Cundall from February 2008 to May 2014 as Director of Critical Systems, and at BDSP Partnership Limited as an Associate from March 2001 to February 2008. Early career roles included Senior Engineer at Cundall and Engineer at Balfour Kilpatrick. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Building and Building Services, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Building Services Engineering, Design and Management, both obtained from the University of Reading.
