Dijana Pavlovic

Dijana Pavlovic has a diverse work experience in software engineering and silicon design. Dijana has worked as a software engineer in various companies such as EdgeDB, StreamFlow Finance, Hooloovoo, Vertrical, symphony.is, and Levi9 Serbia.

In their role at StreamFlow Finance, Dijana was responsible for the React Front-End (FE) and played a crucial role in the refactor and setup of the FE architecture. Dijana led the redesign of the app, deployment to Netlify, Sentry setup, and CI/CD pipeline configuration. Dijana also contributed to the growth of the team during their tenure.

At Hooloovoo, Dijana worked on a micro front-end app where they were responsible for several mini apps. Dijana also set up Storybook and provided coaching on best practices to the team.

During their time at Vertrical, Dijana worked on the USA online pharmacy project, utilizing Gatsby (React) and Nest.js. Dijana led initiatives to improve coding style and the testability of the applications.

Dijana also worked as a software engineer at symphony.is, where they worked on React projects for USA-based clients. Dijana was part of a team responsible for upgrading the FE app to a Progressive Web App (PWA), implementing offline capabilities, and offline data encryption.

Before transitioning to software engineering, Dijana worked as a Silicon Design Engineer at Veriest where they gained experience in the field of silicon design.

Additionally, Dijana has a history of freelance software engineering work, including the development and launch of a PWA mobile app for a music festival in Serbia. The tech stack for this project included Ionic, Angular, Node.js with Express, MongoDB with Mongoose ODM, Firebase authentication, and AWS S3 storage.

Overall, Dijana Pavlovic has a strong background in software engineering with experience in front-end and back-end development, architecture design, team leadership, and best practices implementation.

Dijana Pavlovic pursued their education from 2007 to 2011 at Mathematical High School in Belgrade, where they attended a special school for gifted students in mathematics and physics. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, from 2011 to 2015. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Dijana Pavlovic has also obtained various certifications. In 2023, they received the "Verified International Academic Qualifications" certification from the World Education Services. In the same year, they completed the "Introduction to Financial Accounting" course offered by Wharton Online. In 2022, they earned certifications in "Introduction to Marketing" and "Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content" from Wharton Online. Earlier in 2022, they completed the "Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity" course offered by Wharton Online. Lastly, in 2022, they also completed the "Introduction to Blockchain Technologies" course from INSEAD.
