Yury Selivanov

Yury Selivanov is an experienced software engineer with a diverse work history. Yury began their career in 2008 as the co-founder and CEO of MagicStack Inc., a Toronto-based software engineering team. In 2013, they joined the Python Software Foundation as a core developer and PSF Fellow, and also began working as an advisor for product design at Experience it Inc. In 2019, they became the co-founder and CEO of EdgeDB, an open-source object-relational database built on top of PostgreSQL.

Yury Selivanov attended Bauman Moscow State Technical University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
