Gabriel Parent has a long history of working in marketing and brand management. Gabriel began their career in 2008 as an Auditor at Deloitte. In 2009, they were a Marketing Analyst at Bell Canada. In 2010, they joined Ubisoft as a Brand Manager and was responsible for marketing for the Assassin's Creed brand and its video game products. Gabriel was promoted to Senior Product Manager in 2012 and was part of international, cross-functional teams to plan and execute yearly marketing campaigns for $200MM+ projects. In 2015, they returned to ESCEN - Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d'Economie Numérique as a Guest Teacher - Marketing, teaching a class on video games marketing to twenty-one students. In 2016, they moved to Mattel, Inc. as a Manager - Global Brand Marketing. In 2017, they joined Square Enix as a Brand Director, Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager. Finally, in 2023 they joined Edgegap as Marketing Director.

Gabriel Parent obtained a DEC in Sciences humaines et administratives from Cegep Baie-Comeau between 2004 and 2006. Gabriel then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Accounting from McGill University, which they completed in 2009. Gabriel has also obtained several certifications, including Training JIRA - Users from Valiantys - Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner in March 2020, Search Ads 360 Certification from Google Ads in May 2021, Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in April 2020, and Google Ads Video Certification from Google in January 2021.
