Moritz Eckert

Moritz Eckert has a diverse work experience across various roles and organizations. Moritz is currently working at Edgeless Systems GmbH as the Chief Architect, a role they started in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Software Engineer at the same company from September 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining Edgeless Systems GmbH, Moritz was a Researcher PhD Student at EURECOM from October 2019 to June 2020. Moritz also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from April 2018 to July 2019. During their time at the university, they also served as a Teaching Assistant from April 2015 to March 2018.

Moritz's work experience also includes a role as a Research Scholar at UC Santa Barbara from May 2017 to April 2018. Moritz began their career as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IIS from April 2014 to March 2015.

Moritz Eckert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2013 to 2016. Moritz then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they began their PhD studies as a candidate in Computer Security at EURECOM. In terms of additional certifications, Moritz Eckert obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in August 2020. Moritz also obtained the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification in March 2022 and the CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certification in May 2022, also from The Linux Foundation.
