Peter Doering is an experienced Applications Engineer with a robust background in automation and engineering, currently serving as Applications Engineer III at Edgewater Automation since February 2021. Prior roles include Senior Sales & Application Engineer at Automation Engineering Company and an Independent Product/Industrial Design Engineer with a diverse range of clients. Notable expertise includes managing supply chains for engineering changes at change2target and BMW Manufacturing, implementing six sigma and lean methodologies to enhance launch and change control processes. Peter has developed unique products and manufacturing processes at Woven Electronics and has extensive experience in custom automated manufacturing equipment from previous positions at Advanced Automation, Pierburg, and ATS Automation Tooling Systems. Peter holds a Dipl. Ing. (FH) in Mechatronics from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
