Roberto Colombo

Roberto Colombo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Roberto currently works at Edison SpA as the Head of Corporate Systems Demand & Delivery function, where they lead the design, implementation, and operation of applications supporting corporate processes. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Enterprise Data Platform, responsible for collecting and storing technical and business data to support AI and reporting activities.

Before joining Edison SpA, Colombo worked at Sky Italia for over a decade, holding various roles within the Information Technology department. Their responsibilities included managing data, applications, performance, and process management solutions, as well as financial applications and business intelligence systems. Roberto also took on additional roles such as RPA Manager and leading project roles in London.

Colombo started their career at Vodafone Italia as a Senior Application Manager, overseeing the design, development, and management of finance business intelligence systems. Roberto worked on multiple systems with both internal and external teams.

Prior to their telecom and media industry roles, Colombo worked at Softquattro s.r.l. as a Senior Information Technology Business Consultant and at AGUSTAWESTLAND LIMITED as an Avionic Engineer, where they were involved in avionics systems projects in the aerospace industry.

Colombo's early career includes a stint as a Secondary School Teacher, teaching mathematics, physics, computer science, and electronic systems in private and public schools.

Roberto Colombo received their Perito degree in Informatica from Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale Leonardo Da Vinci - Borgomanero in 1988. Roberto then pursued a Laurea Magistrale in Fisica atomica/molecolare from Università degli Studi di Milano, which they completed in 1995.
