Teryn Thomas

Teryn Thomas is the Founder and CEO of EdLight, PBC, focusing on anti-racist education tools to support students of color. With experience as Chief Schools Officer at STRIVE Prep and Chief of Teaching and Learning at Freire Schools, Teryn has a strong background in educational leadership. Previously working as an Investment Team Manager at Philadelphia School Partnership and a Principal at KIPP New Jersey, Teryn is dedicated to creating transformative educational experiences for all students. With a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from Drexel University, Teryn is a highly educated and experienced professional in the field of education.
