Juan Junco is an accomplished founder and lead at GDSC since August 2022, with extensive experience in software engineering and mentorship. Currently a Davis UWC Scholar, Juan has also held software engineering internships at Microsoft and served as a technical mentor at CodePath. Previously, Juan co-led the EC Hackers club at Earlham College, fostering community engagement through technology projects. Juan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science & Engineering from Earlham College, and current studies for a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science at Columbia University. Additionally, Juan has pursued cybersecurity and holds an International Baccalaureate diploma from UWC Costa Rica.
