Sandra Durden, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of education assessment and research. Additionally, Sandra has held senior positions at McGraw-Hill Education CTB, American Institutes for Research, and Pearson, where they contributed to the development and management of educational assessments. Before transitioning into the assessment field, they worked as a Teacher, teaching mathematics to elementary and middle school students. Sandra started their career as a Legal Assistant, gaining experience in corporate document preparation and research. Sandra Durden, PhD has a diverse education history. Sandra received their Bachelor's Degree in Government (Pre-Law) and Spanish from Evangel University in 1986, and also completed some undergraduate coursework at Eastern Michigan University in 1983-1984. Sandra went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Mathematics, and Social Science from Saginaw Valley State University in 1996. Sandra then obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2006. Sandra continued their academic journey at the University of the Incarnate Word and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership, with a specialty in Mathematics Education in 2023. Furthermore, Sandra holds a Texas Teacher Certificate from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification, which they obtained in 1996.
