Jon Hamar is currently an Assistant Professor of Bass at the University of Tennessee. They are the founder and CEO of Jon Hamar Music and have held the position of Professor of Double Bass at Central Washington University and Edmonds Community College since 2002 and 2010, respectively. Additionally, they serve as Adjunct Faculty at Northwest University. Jon earned a Master’s degree in Music from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Eastern Washington University.
