Waqas Sheikh is an experienced data specialist with a strong background in data analysis and public policy. Currently serving as a Senior Data Specialist at EdOps since November 2018, Waqas has also held significant roles at Education Pioneers and completed a GIS internship at the Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness. Waqas has expertise in developing data warehouses, conducting demographic analyses, and creating visual data presentations using Tableau. Earlier experiences include positions as a Data Associate at Amber Charter School, a Research Associate at the Society for Advancement in Education, and an Assistant Project Officer at Church World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan. Waqas holds a Master of Public Policy from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
