Eric Mayer

Eric Mayer is the current CEO at EDP Biotech. Eric has previous experience as the Director of Business Development at BioPet Vet Lab, a biotechnology company specializing in animal genomics. Mayer has also worked as a product developer at Advanced Animal Diagnostics, and as a team leader for market analysis and green technology case studies at Syngenta Seeds and RTI International, respectively. In addition, they have experience in phage discovery from their time at North Carolina State University and as an Associate Project Manager and Associate Scientist at Cirrus Pharmaceuticals.

Eric Mayer has a degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Eric also has an MBA and MMB from North Carolina State University. Eric is certified in Kauffman Fellows in Venture Deals and International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 49CFR and IATA Hazardous Materials Shipping.
