Alexandre Prata

Alexandre Prata is a seasoned internal auditor with extensive experience in enhancing operational efficiency within organizations. Currently serving as an Internal Auditor at EDP since March 2023, Alexandre's previous role spanned over a decade at REN, where responsibilities included planning and executing internal audit assignments, analyzing enterprise risk management systems, assessing internal control implementation, and conducting financial and compliance audits. Prior to that, Alexandre worked at KPMG Portugal as a Senior, focusing on internal control systems for multinational corporations and coordinating teams in audits across various sectors, including energy and pharmaceuticals. Early career experience at Banco Santander involved commercial banking with a focus on credit proposals and guarantees for clients in the construction and industrial sectors. Alexandre holds an Executive Education degree from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a degree from Nova School of Business and Economics.
